Contrary to the opinion of some, the elephant is not endangered and in fact several countries of Southern Africa have been forced to institute culling operations to keep their numbers in balance.
We offer two elephant hunts. One in South Africa from our lodge and a traditional tented safari in Mozambique.
- South Africa Elephant hunting takes place in the KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces. Elephant tags in South Africa are strictly controlled by CITES.
- Elephant hunting in Mozambique will take you back in time 100 years. You will be hunting elephants out of traditional tented camps on more than 2 million acres of the best elephant hunting areas in Mozambique. Northern Mozambique offers some of the last, truly wild areas left in Southern Africa. The Niassa region of Northern Mozambique produces more 100 pound elephants than any other place in Africa.
